• Even on short ferry rides, always get out of your car and enjoy the crossing.

• No matter how old you get, hug and kiss your mother whenever you greet her.

• Take along two big safety pins when you travel so that you can pin the drapes shut in your motel room.

• Never complain about a flight delayed for mechanical repairs. Waiting on the ground is infinitely better than the alternative.

• Get a flu shot.

• Write your Pastor a note and tell him how much he means to you.

• Overpay good baby-sitters.

• Call three friends on Thanksgiving morning and tell them how thankful you are for their friendship.

• Always put something in the collection plate.

• Never buy an article of clothing thinking it will fit if you lose a couple of pounds.
